Display a folder of images as a slideshow

Start > Create a folder and populate with images, works with JPG, GIF and PNG (may work with others, these were tested). NB Folder name is case sensitive

Next > Go to modules, find DJ-ImageSlider module (automatically created) and open. Set as published and pick a position (I went with the banner position) Also make a choice about which page(s) it should appear on (menu assignment)

There are lots of options, here are the ones most immediately relavent:

Slider source - Set to FOLDER

Show title - Set to HIDE

Image folder - Set to images/Kitty (This was the folder I created in the public_html\images folder)

Full width slider - Set to YES

Fit a size of image to Slide height - This made the slides the same height, pictures should be SIMILAR SIZE to avoid distortion.

Show play/pause - I set to NO to remove the ugly pause button. May change this.

NOTE: Probably needs a little space underneath (possibly on top) of the slider. Probably needs to assign a custom css class to module then add some css code for padding, can't see a way to do it directly through the module.
